The real evil here is making the CS Guy drive an hour to the Indianapolis airport when Cthulhu could have eaten people at the Terre Haute International Airport.

This strip appeared around when Half-Life 2 came out.

Were you taking PLC when you drew this?

I was not. This was freshman year.

Cthulhu would have starved at Terre Haute International Airport — there’s no one there to eat.

A year ago I started reading your blog because of your interesting games with their experimentation in interactive storytelling and storyteller expectations. I noticed your quality sharply fall a little after you pledged to release a game a month. You kept on a good track for a while, but it seemed you got bogged down by the expectation to release games in exactly a single month’s time, not always a realistic expectation.
You’ve really been lagging lately. All you ever seem to release now are old comics you made for your school paper years ago. What happened to the inspiration? Are these past few projects all you have had in production?

I’m still a fan, and I think you can still have the potential to make great games, but you’ve fallen into a bit of a slump it seems.

When I made my game a month pledge, I had released two games: Necropolis and Majesty. I’m a bit puzzled that you could see a drop in quality after those few data points.

I’ve got projects in the queue, but they’re all larger. I do plan to put out some smaller stuff as well, but I’ve been working on other things at the moment.

This year I’ve done pretty well on posting on the blog once a week in addition to TASOAE. It’s entirely possible that you won’t see anything else for a while, since I’m working on longer stuff.

I’ve only been in this career for a year and a half. I won’t worry too much about a “slump” of a few months.

Hey, wow, a person who comes to an artist’s website to tell them that they’ve fallen into a slump. How positive! How constructive! Oh no, how dare you release your old comics! This clearly shows that you’ve lost your inspiration and creativity! Exclamation marks!!!

Are you paying Gregory to work for you? If not, this is pretty much on the level of “this band was so much better when it had fewer fans and I could feel special.”

Yeah that was pretty silly “Critic”.
